(1) Foreign investment approval granted by the foreign investment approval body shall remain valid for the duration of such investment in Nepal.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), such approval shall be deemed to be automatically invalid in the following cases:- If, without any reasonable reason, the foreign investment is not remitted into Nepal within two years from the date of approval, the sale of shares of the industry which has been approved for foreign investment. As a result of the distribution, if the 100% ownership of the foreign-invested industry is transferred to a Nepali investor, if the registration of the foreign-invested industry or the company establishing such an industry is revoked for any reason,
(3) Other arrangements regarding the period of validity of foreign investment approval shall be as prescribed.
